3. How We Use Your Information

- To process and display job applications to relevant recruiters and HR administrators.
- To store and serve uploaded files (resumes, cover letters, job description PDFs) securely via Amazon S3.
- To send you notifications about your application status or account activity.
- To allow HR administrators and recruiters to review, shortlist, and manage applications.
- To improve platform performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
4. File Storage
Uploaded files — including resumes, cover letters, and job description PDFs — are stored securely using Amazon S3 cloud storage. Files are accessible only to the uploader and authorised platform staff (HR administrators and recruiters with access to the relevant job posting or application). We do not sell or share uploaded files with third parties. Files are retained for as long as the associated account or job posting remains active, and are deleted within 90 days of account closure upon request.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:
- With recruiters and HR administrators on the platform, to facilitate the hiring process.
- With service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., Amazon Web Services for file storage, Stripe for payment processing), under strict data processing agreements.
- With Google or Facebook, only to the extent necessary to authenticate your login via OAuth.
- If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use session cookies to keep you logged in securely. We also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our platform (pages visited, time on site, general location). Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, doing so may prevent you from logging in or using certain features of the platform.

Uploaded files associated with closed accounts are deleted within the same 90-day window.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, secure session tokens, and access controls that limit who can view your data. File uploads are stored in a private Amazon S3 bucket. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Indigenous Works Hub is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
